Lily Geismer, History, Claremont McKenna College

Geismer is currently on her second book, Doing Good: The Democrats and Neoliberalism from the War on Poverty to the Clinton Foundation. She is co-editor of Shaped by the State: Toward a New Political History of the Twentieth Century (2019) and author of Don’t Blame Us: Suburban Liberals and the Transformation of the Democratic Party (2015).

This event is a part of Molding Development in the Democratic State, a series of UCSB talks and workshops sponsored by the Center for the Study of Work, Labor, and Democracy; and the Policy History Program.
