This virtual fairy tale tells the story of a young prince imprisoned in a tower\, a woman in disguise seeking revenge\, and a sundry crew of court members trying to save their kingdom and themselves. Isla Vista Arts and UCSB’s Theater & Dance Department present this digital\, swashbuckling Spanish Golden Age adventure about fate\, love\, and honor. If reality is an illusion\, should we fight to become our most noble selves? Calderón’s three centuries-old drama reminds us that our destiny is in our own hands.
