Isabel Ramil

This video has its origin in my reflection about the image of south and central american cities: about the spontaneous assemblages of urban landscape, wich is in constant change due to human interference; the image of the Favela’s chaotic constructions, in wich houses seem to be built on top of one another; the lack of economic resources and government control over the urban lanscape, that allows an uncontrollable growth of city’s visual pollution.
I like thinking of this video as a simple comment about a new-architecture, built on the anarchy of third world’s social and urban (dis)organization.
