Spanish Borderlands, Symposium 2001-2002 Adonde las fronteras?  An Agenda for the New Century.

Roundtable:

This roundtable discussion brings together leading scholars of the Spanish Borderlands of North America -- Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California -- to debate the future directions of research, teaching, and public education in the field. One central organizing
theme will be to link up with initiatives currently underway within the National Park Service in their search for an overarching interpetive framework for the dozens of Spanish Borderlands sites under that organization's purview, with special attention to the Indian and Spanish heritage within our national patrimony.
