In the wake of his epic California Trilogy, 13 Lakes,
the latest film by Californa-based experimental filmmaker
James Benning consists of static takes of 13 different
lakes shot all over America and continues Benning’s
current cycle of meditative “place portrait”
films. The filmmaker will be in attendance for Q&A
following the screening.
