TALK: Kindness As a Key to Humanity’s Future Dame Anita Roddick (Founder, The Body Shop) Tuesday, February 17 / 8 PM / FREE Corwin Pavilion, UCSB Dame Anita Roddick, business woman, and author will argue that kindness, forgiveness and hope are integral to achieving world peace. In 1976, Roddick founded The Body Shop, a company that has since become a multi local business with 2010 stores serving over 77 million customers in 52 different markets in 25 different languages and across 12 time zones, while remaining dedicated to “the pursuit of social and environmental change.” This year's Third Annual Frank K.
