Michael
Mann, social theorist and author of the widely acclaimed series, The
Sources of Social Power (1986) will talk about his most recent
book Incoherent Empire (2003), a powerful but measured critique
of US foreign policy. Professor Mann has taught at Cambridge University,
Essex University, Yale, and the London School of Economics and in
1987 joined the faculty at UCLA.
