Professor Donna Bohanan, Department of History, Auburn University, will give the keynote for this year’s graduate student organized Early Modern Center Conference “Home and World: 1500-1800.” Her talk will consider the ways in which 17th century nobles in the French province of Dauphiné used a particular style of interior decoration to (re-)establish, defend, demonstrate, and exercise their social rank and power.
