Douglas Kahn is professor in Technocultural Studies,
Music and Art History, and a founding Director of Technocultural
Studies at University of California at Davis. He is
currently working under the auspices of a Guggenheim
Fellowship on a book on the cultural trade in acoustics
and electromagnetism in the arts, media and physical
science.
Prior to his Radio Was Discovered presentation,
the Sound in the Arts (SitA) Research Focus Group will
meet with Professor Kahn to address general issues
about the use of sound in the arts. All are welcome.
