The internationally renowned and infamously controversial artist and writer Andrea Fraser talks about her performance and video work in this first I am the Medium event–a yearlong series dedicated to artists who use their bodies as their medium. Full of surprises, and sincerely engaging, Fraser’s talk is a critical examination of institutional practices, body politics, and contemporary art.
