With Diane Favro and Chris Johanson of the UCLA Experiential
Technologies Center
With support from the UCSB Interdisciplinary Humanities
Center a team from UCSB and UCLA explored architectural
representation techniques, merging two-dimensional static
archaeological hand drawings with three-dimensional,
kinetic real-time virtual reality computer modeling.
This “proof of concept” project is an initial
step towards further research on architectural and spatial
representation and perception.
