Mica Pollock will discuss her recent projects investigating
everyday race dilemmas and disputes in U.S. educational
settings. Mica Pollock is Associate Professor at the
Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is the author
of Colormute (2004) and Toward
Everyday Justice: Disputing Educational Dis-crimination
in the New Civil Rights Era. She is currently editing a collection of essays
titled Everyday Antiracism: Concrete
Ways to Successfully Navigate the Relevance of Race
in School.
