Chester Pach, Associate Professor of History at Ohio University, will speak on the role of the U.S. news media in the Vietnam War. He has written articles on the relationship between television news and presidential policymaking, and he is currently completing a book on the subject, The First Television War: TV News, the White House, and Vietnam.
