Anti-Semitism in Europe

Lévy will assess anti-Semitism in Europe today by addressing three critical questions: How does the new anti-Semitism fit in the genealogy of the religious, rationalist, and racial forms of anti-Semitism that have historically afflicted Europe? Is the anti-Zionism prevalent among many European leftists and anti-globalization activists the newest form of anti-Semitism? How and why has the Israeli-Palestinian conflict become the symbolic center of so much “progressivist” thinking? Courtesy of Borders, copies of books by Lévy will be available for purchase and signing at this event.
