RESIDENCY: Todd London (New Dramatists, NYC)
Friday-Saturday, May 20-21, 2005
For nine seasons, Todd London has served as artistic
director of New Dramatists, which was awarded a special
Tony® Honor under his leadership. A former Managing
Editor of American Theatre magazine and the author of
The Artistic Home, London won the prestigious George
Jean Nathan Award for Dramatic Criticism in 1997 for
his essays in American Theatre. In 1995 he was guest
literary director of the American Repertory Theatre
and visiting lecturer of dramatic arts at Harvard. During
his residency at UCSB, London will meet with students
and faculty, and will participate in a new play collaboration
