This public screening of the documentary film, Imaginary
Witness: Hollywood and the Holocaust (Daniel Anker,
2004), commemorates Yom Ha’Shoah and inaugurates
UCSB Holocaust Remembrance Week. Following the screening,
Dr. Michael Berenbaum, former President and Chief Executive
Officer of the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History
Foundation and former director of the U.S. Holocaust
Memorial Museum, will lead a discussion of the film
by a panel that includes two local Holocaust survivors,
Dr. Ichak Adizes and Mrs. Josie Levy Martin.

Endowed Symposia in Jewish Studies at UCSB, a program
of the IHC, Arts & Lectures, Religious Studies,
UCSB Hillel, the Anti-Defamation League and the Jewish
