As part of the IHC’s Visiting Artist Program,
Eve Beglarian will be presenting Untitled Interior:
a performance installation on identity and spirit. Working
with collaborators from the departments of Dance and
Religious Studies, Beglarian will be in residence during
the Summer Theatre Lab working
on the score for Stephanie Nugent’s Untitled
Interior, a work combining digital media, dance
and music that addresses issues of religion, art and
identity. Nugent is Assistant Professor of Dance at
UCSB. The completed work will also be shown at Center
Stage Theater from September 30 – October 2nd,
2005.
