Jeanne Heuving is an associate professor in the Interdisciplinary
Arts and Sciences program, University of Washington, Bothell and on
the graduate faculty in the English Department, University of Washington,
Seattle. Her debut cross genre work Incapacity, combines literature,
biography, and autobiography. She has published widely on twentieth
century poetry and poetics, including the book Omissions Are Not
Accidents: Gender in the Art of Marianne Moore. She is presently
at work on a critical project, The Transmutation of Love in Twentieth
Century Poetry, and has just completed a new poetry manuscript,
Concupiscence.
