![]() ![]() Wednesday, May 21 / 2:30 P.M. / Free Delattre Library, Phelps Hall 5309A Pierre-Edmond Robert, Professor of French Literature, University of Paris III - Sorbonne Nouvelle, is the author of Les Saisons du Paradis (1992), Rien que des étoiles (1992), Un siècle et demi de bonheur (1990), Port Shelby (1990), Olympes (1989), and Version originale (1988). His essays on Marcel Proust and Eugène Dabit have garnered critical praise. He is one of the editors of Marcel Proust's works in the prestigious collection "La Pléiade" and the editor of some of Louis-Ferdinand Céline's correspondence. In addition, he is a translator of American fiction into French, particularly of some of the novels of Mavis Gallant.
