Molara Ogundipe teaches in the Department of English, Theater, and Mass Communications at the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff. She has published academic books as well and poetry collections including Recreating Ourselves: African Women and Critical Transformations (1994: selected in First Nomination of 100 best Books from Africa, 2000); with Carole Boyce Davies (co-editor): Moving Beyond Boundaries: Black Women's Diasporas (1995). She has worked with WIN (Women in Nigeria organization) and with the Nairobi Women's Conference, UNESCO and similar organizations.
