Sarah Fenstermaker (Sociology and Women's Studies, UCSB) will discuss the new volume of essays, Doing Gender, Doing Difference: Inequality, Power, and Institutional Change (Routledge, 2002) that she recently coedited with Candace West (Sociology, UC Santa Cruz). Author Biography:

Sarah Fenstermaker is Professor of Sociology and Women's Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is the author of The Gender Factory: The Apportionment of Work in America. Candace West is Professor of Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
