TALK: Testing the Identity to Politics Link: Racial and Ethnic Identity and Political Participation in the U.S.
Jane Junn (Political Science, USC)
Thursday, November 19 / 4:00 PM
Lane Room, Ellison Hall, third floor
Jane Junn, the award-winning author of Education and Democratic Citizenship in America (with Norman H. Nie and Kenneth Stehlik-Barry) and editor of New Race Politics: Understanding Minority and Immigrant Politics (with Kerry L. Haynie), will test the conventional wisdom among scholars of political behavior in the United States between the positive relationship between group membership and political participation.
