Prof. Santi, who is currently preparing an annotated
edition of one of the major Boom novels Three Trapped
Tigers (1965), will present his research on the great
20th century Cuban writer Guillermo Cabrera Infante.
Santi interviewed and worked with the exiled author extensively
before his death in February 2005. Enrico Mario Santi
is the William T Bryan Professor of Hispanic Studies
at the University of Kentucky. He is a former Guggenheim
Fellow and the author of eight books.
